Their wedding photos are going viral on Facebook. Imee said that she and her fiancé belong to a farming family from Ormoc (Leyte Province, Philippines).
“I dreamed that someone mentioned farming to me as a job worthy of recognition. I want to show everyone how hard it is to soak in mud, bend over planting season, and dry straw in the scorching sun. Yet despite everything, the farmer still lives happily without complaining,” said Imee, a 22-year-old teacher.

Everyone looked scared, but the young couple said once they were immersed in the mud they were free to show their affection and the photographer just took pictures.
Imee and Johncee dated for 14 months and got engaged in October 2019. The timing of the proposal was as simple as their wedding photos. “He just blurted out on the birthday he wanted to marry me and I said yes. I thought it was a joke but it wasn’t,” Imee said with a laugh. .
