A single server will not be able to handle the large number of requests sent at the same time on the same system. Therefore, the emergence of load balancers capable of distributing traffic has helped to solve the problem of request overloading in an economical and efficient manner.
Item is ok Bizfly Cloud The sharing below will help you quickly and easily configure or delete load balancers in Auto Scaling Group.
Using Load Balancers in conjunction with Auto Scaling Group
The ultimate purpose of using Automatic scaling The main one is to automatically increase or decrease the size of Auto Scaling groups according to the increasing or decreasing needs of the user. Also, do the same by adding or removing cloud servers. This will help the traffic to the app to be coordinated completely automatically.
First, you need to create a load balancer and updating the Auto Scaling group to use load balancers so that you can use load balancers in conjunction with the Auto Scaling group. However, what you must keep in mind is that you must have load balancers as well as a server group (server group) directly in these load balancers.
Configuration using a combination of Auto Scaling Group with load balancers
You need to do some basic operations shared by Bizfly Cloud below to be able to configure using a combination of load balancers with Auto Scaling Group:
-
Step 1: Click https://manage.bizflycloud.vn/auto-scaling/groups to enter the Auto Scaling management interface page -> Select the Auto Scaling group you want to use in conjunction with load balancers. (Selecting this will take you to a webpage with an interface for managing a specific Auto Scaling group.)
-
2nd step: Select “Details” in the navigation. Configuration information of load balancers in use and configuration information about Auto Scaling group size will be displayed on this website.
-
Step 3: In the load balancers configuration, select Checkbox -> Select server group and load balancers respectively -> Select service port provided by group members -> Select Update.
After completing the steps, the cloud servers in the group will be added to the load balancer server group that the user wants.
Remove load balancers from the Auto Scaling group
Before you can remove load balancers from Auto Scaling Group, you need to do a few basic things:
-
Step 1: Click https://manage.bizflycloud.vn/auto-scaling/groups to enter the Auto Scaling management interface page -> Select the Auto Scaling group you do NOT want to use with load balancers. (Selecting this will take you to a webpage with an interface for managing a specific Auto Scaling group.)
-
2nd step: Select “Details” in the navigation. Configuration information of load balancers in use and configuration information about Auto Scaling group size will be displayed on this website.
-
Step 3: Uncheck the Configure Load Balancers box -> select Update.
After completing these steps, the cloud servers currently in the group will be removed from the load balancers server group.
Modify the configuration of load balancers used in combination with the Auto Scaling group
To be able to modify the configuration of load balancers used in combination with Auto Scaling Group, you must do the following basic operations:
-
Step 1: Click https://manage.bizflycloud.vn/auto-scaling/groups to enter the Auto Scaling management interface page -> Select the Auto Scaling group you want to use in conjunction with load balancers. (Selecting this will take you to a webpage with an interface for managing a specific Auto Scaling group.)
-
2nd step: Select “Details” in the navigation. Configuration information of load balancers in use and configuration information about Auto Scaling group size will be displayed on this website.
-
Step 3: Select the server group and load balancers you want to make changes to -> Select the service port provided in group members -> Select Update.
After the configuration change is successful, the servers in the Load Balancers server group will be changed and replaced with a new server group.
Hopefully, with the helpful information shared and mentioned by Bizfly Cloud in this article, you were able to configure load balancers, delete load balancers, and modify load balancers used with Auto Scaling group.
