The house, leaning at a gentle slope, leaves a spacious courtyard of over 17 square meters. This green oasis is adorned with diverse species of trees, most notably carambolas. Additionally, the roof doubles as a vegetable garden, providing daily sustenance for the homeowners and offering a refreshing sanctuary for the house itself. The front yard and roof garden are intentionally designed to invite the birds and squirrels to visit.

A Home for Simplicity

The homeowners, leading a busy and minimalist lifestyle, desired a home that reflected their values. On the ground floor, alongside the garden, a versatile space was carefully designed. With the freedom to decorate and utilize it according to their needs, this multi-purpose room offers an ideal environment for work or social gatherings, without disturbing the tranquility of other areas. Furthermore, this space serves as a reserve for future expansion should the family grow in size.

The main reception rooms are elevated, offering a sweeping view of the surroundings and the lush landscape. On the second floor, the interconnected living room, kitchen, and dining area create an inviting space. The kitchen, strategically positioned under an atrium, boasts a glass roof and movable wooden louvers that enable ample natural light and ventilation. From here, the owner can savor views of the verdant trees and the endless sky.

Embracing Nature at Every Turn

Ascending to the third floor, the bedroom opens up to a cascade of green trees hanging from the roof to the front atrium. This thoughtful architecture, complemented by rustic brick blocks, ensures privacy while allowing a gentle play of sunlight. Moreover, the terrace office provides a serene workspace surrounded by the lush expanse of a vegetable garden.

Thanks to its double-layered design, incorporating greenery and glass roofs at strategic points, this dwelling enjoys optimal airflow, reducing the need for air conditioning. The materials used, such as rustic brick, bare concrete, and wood, not only promote environmental sustainability but also foster a deep connection with the natural surroundings.
